Patent leather is finished with a glossy coating, giving it a smooth texture and vivid color. Due to the nature of the material, prolonged contact with other leather goods or dark-colored fabrics may cause color transfer. Heat, humidity, and repeated friction may also lead to surface deformation or scratches.

If the surface becomes dirty, gently wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using alcohol or strong cleaning agents. When storing, keep the item in its dust bag and place it in a cool, well-ventilated area away from direct contact with other products.

As part of the patent-leather coating process, subtle wrinkles or uneven areas may appear on the surface. These are natural characteristics created by the interaction between the leather grain and the glossy coating, and are not considered defects.
